West Hartford parents know quality. That’s just the culture here. Strong schools, engaged families, high expectations. When your child is involved in something you want it to be worth their time and yours.
So let me speak directly to that.
If your child loves performing arts — if they’re the one who memorizes every song, volunteers for every school production, and comes alive the moment there’s an audience — what they’re doing right now in school is probably not enough. Not because the school programs aren’t good. They are. But because your child is ready for something more focused, more individual, and more intentional.

What West Hartford Kids Are Up Against
West Hartford has two of the strongest high school theater programs in Connecticut. Conard and Hall both run competitive productions with real production values. The kids who land the leads, who make All-State chorus, who get into college conservatory programs — they’re not just talented. They’re prepared.
There’s a difference between a child who loves performing and a child who has been coached. Parents in West Hartford understand that distinction in academics and athletics. The same principle applies here.
What I’ve Seen Over 35 Years
I’ve been developing young performers across Hartford County since 1997. In that time I’ve worked with students preparing for school musical auditions, All-State chorus, college conservatory programs, Broadway auditions, national tour callbacks, and national television.
One of our students went on to star on Broadway. Another landed a role on a national NBC sitcom, covered by the Hartford Courant. These weren’t child prodigies who didn’t need coaching. They were children who worked hard with the right guidance at the right time.
I trained at Carnegie Mellon University, one of twelve students selected nationally that year. I’ve spent my entire career doing one thing — helping young people find out what they’re truly capable of on a stage.
Two Ways to Get Started
For children who are just beginning or want a social creative outlet, our group acting classes are the perfect starting point. Fun, structured, developmental. No experience required.
For students who are ready for focused one-on-one work, private coaching through Lamb Studios Online puts them directly in front of me, online via Zoom, from home, on a weekly basis.
The trial lesson is $65, a full 45 minutes with me personally. If your child continues within 30 days that $65 goes toward the first month. No risk. Just a real first look at what focused coaching actually feels like.

One Thing I Want You to Know
The children who surprise everyone aren’t always the most talented ones in the room. They’re the ones who showed up consistently, worked honestly, and had someone in their corner who believed in them before they believed in themselves.
I’ve been that person for students across Hartford County for nearly 30 years. I’d like to be that for your child too.
