Community Voices
Youth Choir
A community youth choir for children ages 7–12, led personally by Michael Lamb. Students develop their singing voice, build real musical skills, and discover what it feels like to create something beautiful together — all while preparing for a live Holiday Concert open to the whole community in December. No audition required. No prior experience needed. All skill levels welcome.
Real skills. Real confidence. Real music.
Vocal Technique
Students develop their singing voice through focused work on breath control, breath management, intonation, and tone. Every rehearsal builds on the last.
Musical Repertoire
The group sings a variety of songs together, exploring different styles and building a genuine love of music and performance.
Creative Confidence
Every child's voice matters here. The program is designed to validate and affirm each student's creativity and help them find their own artistic voice.
Ensemble & Community
There is something powerful about creating music as a group. Students learn to listen, support one another, and experience what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Spring 2027
Spring session begins late March. Registration opening soon.
A program born from one unforgettable moment.
In June 2026, 34 children from Avon and Farmington came together to perform an original song, “We Stand,” written by Michael Lamb for the Avon & Farmington 250th Anniversary Celebration. After just two rehearsals, strangers became an ensemble. The response from families was immediate — and Community Voices was born.
34 children · Two towns · One unforgettable performance.

“Thank you so much for having such an amazing experience available for our children. In two short rehearsals they were ready to shine in front of the community, had patriotic spirit, and sang beautifully in one voice. We hope to see more offerings like these!”
