Nearly 30 years building
Connecticut’s performers.

Michael Lamb founded Performing Arts Programs in 1997 and continues to run and teach the majority of programs personally. Every program is held to the same standard of instruction — whether Michael is in the room or a PAP-trained instructor is leading the class.

Through PAP, Michael directed youth productions and performing arts programs at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts for over a decade, and was entrusted by The Bushnell to cast and prepare children for the National Touring Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind. His students have gone on to perform on Broadway, appear on NBC television, and earn acceptance into prestigious college conservatory programs all across the country.

community partnerships.

Performing Arts Programs was founded in 1997 with a simple mission: bring professional-quality performing arts education to communities that want it. Michael Lamb personally leads every program — the same commitment to quality whether we’re in Avon or anywhere else in the region.

How it works: We work directly with your recreation department or organization to schedule and run the program. You handle registration through your existing systems. We handle the instruction, materials, and everything else.

No overhead for you. No curriculum to develop, no materials to buy, no substitute instructors. Just a proven program your community will come back to season after season.
