Voice & Musical
Theater Classes
Students sing musical theater songs, develop their voice, and discover the joy of performing. Weekly classes in a warm, encouraging environment where every skill level belongs.
Singing musical theater songs
with technique and joy.
Voice & Musical Theater is a weekly group class where students learn to sing musical theater repertoire with confidence, expression, and real vocal technique. Each class focuses on developing the voice, building performance skills, and bringing songs to life through character and storytelling.
This is not a production program — there’s no show to prepare for, no audition to stress about. It’s a weekly class where students grow as singers and performers in a supportive, low-pressure environment. All skill levels are welcome. No prior experience required.
Voice & Musical Theater is a natural complement to Acting Classes — or a wonderful standalone experience for students who love to sing. Both programs are taught personally by Michael Lamb every week.

Skills that grow with
every class.
Vocal Technique
Breath support, tone, range, projection, and pitch — the fundamentals of confident, healthy singing developed at each student’s own pace.
Performance Skills
Stage presence, expression, and the ability to connect emotionally with a song — what separates a singer from a performer.
Musical Theater Repertoire
Songs from Broadway and beyond — age-appropriate material that challenges students and gives them something to be genuinely proud of.
Character Through Song
Every song tells a story. Students learn to bring a character’s inner life to the surface through their voice, physicality, and presence.
Ensemble Singing
Blending voices, listening to each other, and creating something together — the uniquely powerful experience of group performance.
Confidence
The ability to stand up and sing — in front of a class, a family, or an audience — and mean every word. That confidence carries far beyond any stage.
Two groups. Age-appropriate
instruction for both.
Classes are divided by grade so the repertoire, pace, and expectations are always right for where students are developmentally.
Grades 3–5
Foundations
Age-appropriate musical theater repertoire, foundational vocal technique, and an introduction to performance skills. A joyful, encouraging environment where students discover their voice for the first time.
Grades 6–8
Development
More advanced repertoire, deeper vocal development, and greater focus on performance technique and character work. For students ready to take their singing and performing to the next level.
If your child loves to sing,
this is their class.
The Child Who Sings Around the House
They already love it — now they get a real place to develop that love with proper technique and a teacher who takes them seriously.
The School Musical Hopeful
Building vocal confidence and audition skills before school musical season. Students who take this class show up to auditions more prepared and more comfortable.
The Shy Singer
Singing in a group first, then individually — the class structure lets shy students build confidence gradually at their own pace.
The Acting Class Student
Already taking Acting Classes and ready to add singing? Voice & Musical Theater is the natural complement — same teacher, deeper skill set.
Private coaching takes
it to the next level.
Group classes build a strong foundation. When a student is ready for personalized one-on-one instruction, Michael’s private coaching through Lamb Studios Online is the natural next step — same teacher, deeper focus, online via Zoom. Ages 12 and up.
